The Fresno County Superintendent of Schools (FCSS) provides an array of services to our School Districts and Charter Schools. One area includes certain special education and related services to our Member School Districts, Charter Schools, and the FCSS  Court and Community Schools Program through a service agreement. Such services include Speech Language Pathology (SLP) and Adaptive Physical Education (APE). 

Some service agreements may be provided to School Districts or Charter Schools, if the service is available. Contract amounts for some services are calculated by taking the total amount for salary and benefits, mileage reimbursements, equipment, supplies, and materials needed to provide the services, administration and indirect costs that FCSS budgets in order to employee the service provider. At the end of the contract term, the rate may be recalculated based upon the actual amounts in order to employ the service providers, and the difference between the recalculated amount and the contract amount is applied to the School District or Charter School.
