Hi! I’m Teacher Melissa

About me:

I am an Early Intervention teacher for the Friends program with FCSS. I have a BA in Early Childhood development and a Credential in Early Childhood Special Education. I have worked in an early childhood education setting for 13 years and have been with FCSS for the past 7.

I have a 10 year old daughter and am currently navigating the “tween” years…Those terrible twos don’t seem so bad anymore ; )

Message to Families:

As an early interventionist I find that the first three years of life are such amazing ones and I enjoy working with families and getting to be a little part of that journey.

I’m an advocate for play being one of the best learning tools for children and enjoy helping families learn new ways to play while encouraging their child’s development.

I look forward to working with you and your child as we navigate their first few years and all the learning that will ensue!
