About Me

Hello! My name is Denise McFarland, and I am one of the Speech-Language Pathologists with the FRIENDS program. I have worked with the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools for 22 years beginning my career in elementary schools. I then spent 15 years assessing preschool children on the FCSS Preschool Assessment Team. In 2016, I joined the FRIENDS team as a support service. It has always been a passion of mine to work with younger children and their families. I am so grateful to work amongst an amazing team of individuals who strive to empower families.

At home, my husband and I have four sons and a fur baby, Gidget. She is a rescue dog abandoned on the country roadside. We spoil her with yummy treats and oodles of love and attention. My greatest joy is making memories with family and friends.
