Adapted Physical Education services provide assessment and intervention for students who have disabilities in gross motor, fine motor, perceptual motor, performance, and/or physical fitness. Intervention may be in the form of direct service (individual or group sessions), collaboration with the classroom and/or parent, or through consultation with other professionals by developing curricular materials or through training/workshops. In addition, a Skills Challenge Specially Designed Physical Education Program is provided to those students enrolled in the FCSS Program for Severely Disabled students.
